Another totally unexpected mount drop at a totally unexpected time. As per usual, i was running my alts over to Karazhan for my weekly attempts at the Fiery Warhorse’s Reins. Once again i was just going through the motions, not paying attention, expected to be disappointed yet again. Not this time though! This day would be a good day as far as mounts go.

To be honest, had the achievement not popped up, i’d probably still have the mount in my bag not realizing it dropped. I often don’t even look at the loot as i’m quickly trying to log between alts to get my farming done. Thankfully it did drop with not as many attempts as expected. Hell, I’ve heard this has taken some people more than seven years to acquire. No complaints for my one year of attempts, that’s for sure. The only downside is i don’t get to come to Karazhan for anything anymore. I love this raids atmosphere.
