Everything Else is Cream Cheese – #Blaugust Day 26

Well it didn’t take me very long to delve into the outfit market in Lotro. I knew it wouldn’t but i somehow tried to convince myself otherwise. This game really does have some absolutely outstanding cloaks and capes. I’m partial myself to the hooded cloaks, which i managed to snag from either a quest or a gift box. I really don’t remember as i’ve been clicking on stuff in my inventory nonstop out of curiosity. Relearning a game and a UI is sometimes interesting like that. Hopefully i haven’t done anything that can’t be undone as far as items go.
I’m slowly but surely making my way through the early levels. I’ve been going rather slowly since i’m easily distracted by my need to see what’s around the next corner. I feel that’s actually a positive as far as MMO’s go. Simply forget about any sort of schedule or experience bar and just go and have fun wandering about. It’s actually quite liberating. I’m only in my teens but i’ve made it to Bree and the Prancing Pony. That should be enough motivation to keep going and see what’s around the next corner and so on. As long as i follow Coach Finstock’s advice, i should be fine. Wish me luck.
Coach Finstock: There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese. – Teen Wolf (1985)
