Malygos My Nemesis

After seven weeks of disappointment after disappointment trying to farm myself a Hailstorm, Malygos finally put out.  So glad i no longer have to do this silly encounter despite it taking almost no time at all.  With this sword, i now have completed my totally cliche and probably overused Frost transmog set for my DK.  It really ties the whole

Stay Frosty

My Frost DK transmog set is very close to completion.  I’ve been working on it since i hit 90 and only missing the head piece at this point.  Unfortunately Cho’gall, Valiona and Theralion are being stingy with the drops.  While i really dig the dual wield axe look with this set, i’m probably going to go and try to farm

Updated UI

Well it didn’t take me long to completely redo my UI yet again.  This being the 5th time in as many weeks as I’ve been playing the game.  This time i went with ElvUI, which is an all in one but very configurable to the last frame.  I really dig the unified and clean look it provides while not losing

Fun With Fonts

During my leveling process, i fell in love with Mik Scrolling Battle Text.  It uncluttered all my damage numbers and condensed them into one simple frame.  Since i like minimal with less clutter, it was a perfect fit for my UI setup.  That is until i started doing some raids and reassessing my UI needs and layout functionality. I realized how

Hell Has Frozen Over

After taking my sweet time, my frost DK finally hit the magical level cap.  I think i get the playstyle and overall requirements of the class to finally get into some more difficult content and, dare i say, raiding.  For now i think i’ll run around Timeless Isle and gear up through the chests scattered all over the island.  I

Obtainer of Rare Antiquities

As I’ve mentioned previously, i’m a huge fan of desert zones in my MMO’s.  It was no secret i couldn’t wait to get to Uldum for the first time.  I was curious how WoW implemented and handled my favorite MMO climate.  What came as a surprise once i began questing there was entire Indiana Jones tie in.  It was completely unexpected

Bring Out Your Dead

Mini milestone #2 this week in WoW, and that of course is my first level 80.  The last ten levels seemed to go way quicker than the previous ten.  I’m sure that had a bit to do with my enjoyment of Northrend and my utter dislike of Outland.  Not only were the quests much more interesting but so were the

Ding! 70

My first mini milestone in WoW had me dinging 70 on my DK.  Slowly but surely i’m making my way up to cap without feeling any reason to rush.  The only comment i can make is hurray for getting out of Outland!  I hated that place and all it’s gloomy zones with a passion.  Next up was Northrend, though I

EQ2 UI

When i first began playing EQ2 and started looking for a UI replacement for the ugly default one, i turned to ProfitUI much like everyone else.  Ironically, this sort of went against my minimalist preferences when it comes to UI’s in general.  While it eliminated certain frames such as the SoE bar, it also introduced many others. Original layout The
