We finally make it to the 11th boss of the third wing of Siege of Orgrimmar.  Grimlock, err i mean Thok.  As a melee, i hate this fight but it’s a lot of fun on a ranged class.

Crates!  Yes crates.  The 10th boss in Siege of Orgrimmar is an assortment of crates.  Technically you don’t really fight crates but the mobs within them, but i’m going to call this the crate boss nevertheless.  The only difficult aspect of this encounter seems to be the willingness of the raid leader to split groups up properly. Heading into the third wing of Siege of Orgrimmar, we meet up with the ninth boss, Malkorok.  An incredibly simple encounter that players manage to complicate every time.

In my ever evolving item transmogrification collection, I’ve added a new sword.  The Spellfire Longsword now joins my Hailstorm as the two main weapons i bounce between.  I can’t decide if i like the icicle or lightsaber look more but these are by far my two favorite sword skins.  They just fit perfectly with the whole frost motif I’ve been going for.  I’m sure

The eighth boss and final one of the second wing of the Siege of Orgrimmar raid.  Such a simple encounter, so easily screwed up in so many ways.  I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve actually hit the enrage timer of this boss.  I seem to pick the absolute worst times possible to queue for this wing.

After careful deliberation i decided to use my free 90 boost on a Mage.  I went back and forth for a while between that and Shaman but the deciding factor was race.  As in, i dislike every race in the game other than humans and blood elves!  Since neither can roll a Shaman, that left me with the all powerful

The seventh boss and second to last in the second wing of Siege of Orgrimmar is Kor’kron Dark Shaman. My enjoyment of this encounter is dependent on whether or not i’m melee or ranged.  On my Hunter this fight is enjoyable but on my DK this fight is such a pain.  This is by far my least favorite encounter in the

Who doesn’t love a huge mechanical scorpion boss?  Probably the healers in this case since it seems like a really healing intensive encounter.  The sixth boss in Siege of Orgrimmar brings us to the Iron Juggernaut and his freaking laser beam (Dr. Evil style).  Oh if only this were a mechanical land shark of some kind!

After taking a short detour from my lovely LFR journey, i returned this week and headed into the second wing of Siege of Orgrimmar.  First up is Galakras and the joys of the tower group!  I actually find doing the towers a lot more enjoyable than just sitting at the bottom spamming AoE’s, but that largely depends on the tank
