• The Story Goes On

What a nice long and enjoyable break from blogging after Blaugust. It wasn’t really my intention to take an entire month off following that craziness.  It just sort of happened

We Now Return to Our Regularly Scheduled Programming

Blaugust is officially over after today and i am so absolutely relieved. As someone who posts maybe three times a week on a good week, this month has been extremely

We’re in the home stretch here folks and i’ve somehow managed to not go completely bonkers. Well to be honest, it’s not really a stretch when there’s only two days

Has it really been six years already since the launch of GW2? I honestly can’t believe it’s been over half a decade since the hype train took off from the

I just realized this morning that i haven’t done a mount post about GW2 yet. Yes they’re fairly new to the game but being as they are the main attraction

My journey to a full ascended light armor set is moving rather smoothly so far. I managed to cap my Tailoring the other day and proceeded to craft myself ascended

    Exclusivity Is Good

Continuing on with the theme of my favorite items from any game ever, i’m once again revisiting FFXI. Lets be honest, old school MMORPG’s were better at meaningful drops that

    Long Way To Go

I’m a little overwhelmed thinking about just how much there is to do for me in GW2 right now. It’s almost to the point of not knowing where to start

Public Dungeons

If the EQ Next reveal did anything for me, it had me hopping back into EQ2 for a few days.  Despite never having a max level character, there’s just something about this game that always has me hopping back on from time to time.  It’s usually the fantastic housing system that gets me but this time it happened to

Trinity?

It’s impossible to visit any forum or online gaming site without running across thread after thread about the holy trinity.  This was of course brought up with the reveal on EQ Next a few days ago and it’s been fueling since.  It’s a touchy subject for a lot of players and will only continue to be even after the existence

EverQuest Next Style

I’ve been waiting on the reveal of EQ Next, much like everyone else, since the news of it restarting as a sandbox.  I was excited mostly because i was interested in what SOE had up their sleeves and not so much because of the IP.  I never really got into the franchise mostly because i was a hardcore FFXI player.

Zenith Weapons

While i really haven’t played much of GW2 for the past two months now, the Achievement rework patch had me back in for a bit.  Anet decided to retroactively give out a bunch of stuff, including Zenith weapons skins, based on your total achievement points.  This sounded great in theory until i logged in to see myself over 3000 points

Battlecrab

With the Storm Legion expansion comes a new class;  Battlecrab!  This new rogue soul is exceptional at battling evil forces of the deep.  This king of the crustaceans makes up for its slow movement speed with its devastating claw attacks that leaves complete chaos in its wake.  While not as effective outside of its natural elements, I’m looking at

Just Deserts

I’m not sure what it is about desert maps in MMO’s but i absolutely adore them.  Maybe it’s my absolute love of the film Lawrence of Arabia, but i always enjoy a good sand desert over a lush jungle.  In fact, i absolutely hate jungle maps with a passion.  They tend to be so over-saturated and packed with trees and

Ding 60

Ding      Two years and 4 months after my initial level 50 ding in Rift, I’ve reached 60.  I just love that word “ding”, it just has a ring to it.  Wow, that was terrible yet I’m going with it.  I can’t believe it’s been so long honestly because it sure doesn’t feel like Rift has been out that

Rift Mount Check

As i continue my week in Rift and my inevitable climb to 60 after over a year away, i decided to take some time between quests for some fun stuff.  I love collective anything i can, as I’m sure many others do as well.  This time i diverted my attention to my mount collection, which in this case is

Raptr Nerd Points

Being a nerd and using their game tracking software finally payed off.  Well, technically I’ve received tons of rewards from them in the past, but never anything of value.  This time around i was rewarded with the Storm Legion expansion for free, which included four new souls, and an adorable Raptr mini-pet. Holographic Shattered Dragon Wings

Completing 8 of the 12 possible Dragon Bash achievements rewards you with a holographic skin for your back slot.  It just happens to be a skin similar to The Shatterer’s wings, which i always thought looked fantastic.  The achievements themselves are pretty simple, which always annoys me.  I’d prefer tasks a little more difficult that just running around and clicking

Dragon Ball

I decided to jump right into the new Dragon Bash PvP mini-game called Dragon Ball.  What better way to do so than using the Jack Burton method of just running right in without any prior knowledge?  Absolutely no better method of course.  Not knowing what you’re supposed to do or what the hell the objective is can be
